Adrián Zuachzer (26) was arrested this morning in a mountain area in the town of Alba Posse, after spending 27 days on the run. He is the subject who on December 22 tried to murder her ex-partner, Marcia Noemí Mattoso (27), stabbing her 13 times in front of her three youngest children in a square in the town of Villa Bonita, Campo municipality Ramon.
After the attack, he escaped and his hiding place was a mystery during that time, despite the fact that he was in charge of harassing the victim through social networks.

Marcia was admitted to intensive care, where she underwent emergency surgery and showed an evolution considered “miraculous” due to the serious internal injuries resulting from Zuachzer’s lunges. After that, she went to a common room and finally they allowed her to continue her recovery at her parents’ house, although with permanent police custody due to the criminal’s status -at that time- as a fugitive and dangerousness.
That is why this morning she felt relieved to learn of the arrest of the man who stabbed her so viciously, being the father of two of her children and who had to comply with a judicial measure to restrict their approach due to repeated episodes of violence that she had denounced.

“I’m much calmer now,” she said briefly to The territoryjust after the appointment with a member of the interdisciplinary team that assists her psychologically.
In this context, he also said he felt “a lot of helplessness” in relation to “how he left me”, but he clarified: “I am grateful to be alive and with more strength to move forward.”
He also stated that he expects justice and predicted many years in prison for his attacker, placing his hopes at that point in the head of the Oberá Investigating Court 2, Horacio Alarcón, magistrate in charge of the case.

The extreme violence that he exerted on the mother of his children and that almost ended his life was not enough for Zuachzer, who continued to harass the victim from hiding through his different Facebook profiles and that ended up being what guided the investigators to their hideout.
The Police reported that the Cybercrime Directorate proceeded to sweep the satellite search, locating the point where the fugitive activated his profile on his phone, locating him in the vicinity of an area known as the “air strip” in Alba Posse.
He was captured after a large operation in the mountain area on the coast of the Uruguay River and now investigations are expected to determine who collaborated with his escape, or knowing that the criminal had an arrest warrant, he did not report his location. The photos and videos of his arrest show him in clean clothes, which suggests that he was in a house all this time and had logistical help to stay hidden.
The evidence shows that on Saturday, December 31, 2022, just over two hours before the start of 2023, he wrote to Marcia from his hiding place, without getting any answers: “I know you’re having a shitty end of the year, but I wish you well.” best in the world and may you be very happy,” he wrote.
In that same message, he repeated the typical behavior of violent people that the victim’s parents reflected when they spoke with The territory. “Sorry, sorry for doing that to you, I will pay with my life, I promise Noe,” he wrote, marking an alleged repentance and the consequent request for forgiveness that, according to the parents, appeared after each one of the attacks suffered by the young woman. .
Zuachzer, looking for a kind of redemption and trying to show pity, blaming the victim, also threatened: “You will see me in a drawer because what I did cannot be forgiven.”
He unusually closed by saying “I just want you to know that I love you and I love my children”, and asked “visit me at my grave please please”.
Shortly before midnight, the fugitive criminal appeared again to write him “I love you” and four minutes into 2023 he wished him “happy new year” along with two emojis with sad and crying faces.
Not getting any kind of response, at 2:15 on January 1 he wrote “sorry”, as a sign of the impunity with which he handles himself and the harassment suffered by the victim who is slowly recovering with his parents, children and sisters.

According to what the victim’s parents recounted, for around nine years of their relationship there was physical and verbal violence, threats of all kinds, even the intentional burning of a house where they lived in Alba Posse and repeated complaints, requests for aid that the authorities never took seriously. “For nine years he made my daughter’s life hell,” they said.
