The contingent of 6,060 troops was deployed in accesses, platforms and other facilities of the STC that mobilizes some four million people daily in the capital of the country.

“They are not armed, their objective is to guarantee the safety of users,” Claudia Sheinbaum said on her Twitter account.

Since last Saturday there have been at least five other problems in the Metro, two of which involved wheels on the wagons, said the head of government, without giving further details.
