With different teams, River beat Racing de Montevideo/Télam 3-1

River Plate closed their preseason with a 3-1 victory against Racing de Montevideo. Milton Casco opened the scoring in the first stage and in the second half, with other names, goals from Miguel Borja and Bruno Zuculini sealed the result, after Rodrigo Rey’s temporary draw.

River arranged a line of four defenders, with Enzo Pérez ahead, four offensive midfielders in line and a single point of reference that was Lucas Beltrán. Demichelis’s team dominated the action from the start of the game and scored on 32 minutes with a low left foot shot from Milton Casco.

For the second part, Demichelis changed the 11 players but maintained the tactical system with Borja as center forward and with Solari, Barco, Aliendro and Alfonso coming from the midfield. In the first dangerous play Racing reached the tie with a shot from Rey, but after 13 minutes Borja made it 2-1 and then Zuculini headed in with a surprise appearance, putting the final 3-1.
