chagguns. (sco) The “Tschaggus Fasnatomzug” is a great event on Sunday, January 29th, 2023. In the village center the Gugga music “Partener Latschasorri” will be playing from 12 to 1 p.m. Immediately afterwards, the 1000 participants line up in Zelfenstraße near the Rasafeibachbrücke. The parade through Gola Gass starts at 2 p.m. With free admission, music and hospitality for everyone, the fun continues in the new multi-purpose hall at the Tschagguns elementary school. All participants get a drink and a sausage for free. Each registered group can look forward to a commemorative medal.

The Gola Droli carnival club was founded 32 years ago “for the purpose of preserving tradition”, as the club informs on its website. In the Montafon community, the association organizes events for locals and guests all year round, such as the “Fasnatomzug”, Dorfhock, the Kilbi and the Christmas market. The “Partener Latschasorri”, which are already in action at noon, were founded in 1999. They can look back on a number of television appearances at ORF Carinthia in Klagenfurt, an invitation to the Austrian embassy in Luxembourg, various benefit events, street spectacles in summer and many appearances in their home valley.
