The Minister of Economy Sergio Massa and the head of the ANSES fernanda raverta announce the first increase for mobility 2023. As of March, retirement and pensions of the pension system will have an increase of 17.04% and also there will be a reinforcement bonus of $15,000 for those who earn the minimum and $5,000 for those who receive the equivalent of twice the minimum wage.

“We want to consolidate a path of recovery to improve income, since it is something central to the functioning of the internal market and, above all, to improve the quality of life of our retirees. The purpose of the bonus is that it is an improvement that serves to alleviate the effects of inflation in their daily lives,” said the head of the Palacio de Hacienda during the announcement. With these increases, the minimum retirement from next month will be $73,665.

The increase was reported after the dissemination of the wage index measured by INDEC corresponding to December last year, which allows calculating every three months the percentage of the retirement mobility. The announcement was made through a message from the Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa and the head of the Anses, Fernanda Raverta.

This increase also applies to the Universal Child Allowance (AUH) and family allowances (pregnancy, prenatal allowance, birth allowance, adoption allowance, marriage and spouse allowance). Total, the rise reaches 17 million people who receive some benefit and implies a disbursement for the Treasury of 200,000 million pesos.

As detailed by Massa, the minimum retirement, based on the application of the mobility formula and the successive reinforcement bonuses applied, will have an increase of 125% between March of last year and the same month of 2023.
