Excited about the start of the campaign, the Indios de Ciudad Juárez revealed this Tuesday the clothing that the team will wear during the 2023 season of the State Baseball Championship; In total, six kits were presented plus the preseason one.

One of the uniforms had already been presented, which is the special edition with a design of the Samalayuca dunes in sand color.

The home uniform is a traditional red shirt with white lines on the edges of the clothing. The squad shield is located on the left chest.

This season’s retro version is a simple and elegant design, with the word Juárez on the chest and a plain light gray T-shirt.

Also introduced was a white jersey with a striped design with thin, dark lines vertically, with the team crest on the left chest.

Another novelty is the black uniform, which this time features the word Juárez on the chest, but the letters only have a red border.

Finally, there is another design in red, this one presents a V-neck with small red, white and black stripes, the word Indios appears on the chest and the sleeves are white, apparently containing faded Juarense insignia designs.

Everything seems to indicate that the squad will not be able to use the home jersey in this Thursday’s game, because despite playing at the Estadio Juárez, since at the administrative level it will be the Mineros who will receive Indios in the ‘Colossus of Reforma’.

Rubio and Jiménez arrive at La Tribu

The Indios team presented the last two signings of the 2023 campaign, the first is an old acquaintance of the team, Paúl Rubio, a left-handed pitcher who recently played for the Pharaohs of Nuevo Casas Grandes.

With few opportunities in his most recent season, the pitcher returns to Ciudad Juárez with the aim of rediscovering his level with the tribe, since with his former team he barely registered five innings, in which he only managed to strike out one.

In addition to Paul’s return to the tribe, one of the flagship hitters for the world capital, Edgar Jiménez, who managed to record five home runs, seven double hits, 25 singles, and 28 RBIs in his final season with the team.

The performances in the diamond of the now gunboat from Ciudad Juárez were a key piece for the Parralense team to stay with the runner-up against the Algodoneros de Delicias, as they were on par with the team’s top stars, Dylan Jasso and Alex Alvarado.

Along with newcomer Carlos Díaz, veterans James Cubillos and Yahir Gurrola, plus the support of rookie Christian Renova, the Indios de Ciudad Juárez appear to have finished their search for sluggers heading into Thursday’s game.
