The National Housing Fund for Workers (Infonavit) announced that there are two days left for people to make use of the Shared Responsibility program and avoid increases in their credits.

It will be until December 31st when the beneficiaries can change their credits Times Minimum Wage to pesossince those who do not, will see increases in their mortgage debt from 2023, due to the 20 percent increase in the minimum wage and inflation.

According to the institute, all people will be able to make the conversion for free, easily and safely through My Infonavit Account (micuenta.infonavit.org.mx).

It is important to mention that when making the conversion, borrowers will have fixed monthly payments and balances throughout the term of the loan, without annual increases.

In addition, interest rates will be frozen, that is, they will only go from 1 percent to 10.45 percent, depending on the income level of the workers.

To carry out the process, you only need to carry out five simple steps. The first is to access My Infonavit Account and then choose the My Credit tab and then Shared Responsibility.

Immediately, you must enter the state and zip code where the home is located; click on Procedure and select the Shared Responsibility column.

Finally, you must confirm the procedure, save and print the acknowledgment with the amount of the fixed monthly payment with the conversion to pesos.
