The headquarters of the colproba is on the corner of 14th and 47th streets, a few meters from the courthouse / sebastián casali

Once again, the Tribunales neighborhood in La Plata made news again due to insecurity. But this time with a blow that seemed taken from a movie script, since the target of the robbery was, nothing more and nothing less, than the headquarters of the Bar Association of the Province of Buenos Aires (Colproba), which is located in the corner of 14th and 47th streets.

With a planned job and, proving to have information about the place chosen for the attack, the thieves first removed the fuses from a light box to leave the building without electricity and, thus, prevent the sound alarm from going off and being eavesdropped. site security cameras.

Always based on the official information that this newspaper received, later, with great skill, they broke the lock on the front door, left it locked with a fire extinguisher, and began to tour the facilities with astonishing calm.

What is not entirely clear yet is the day the robbery happened, since they acted over the weekend.

“Friday the 6th, around 4 in the afternoon, was the last recognized contact by an employee or manager of the institution. They closed and this Monday, when they arrived to start a new work day, they found the news of the robbery,” said a police chief.

Apparently, according to a version that circulated yesterday afternoon, there would have been a notice from the surveillance company that is in charge of monitoring the building, through which -based on that unofficial information- it was warned about a power outage of energy in the entity.

However, given the suspicion that it would be a service interruption in the entire area, presumably no one approached to corroborate the situation.

And that’s when, with the fertile ground, the members of the band (it is suspected that there would be several) could play it safe.

Although there was no theft of money, the spokespersons speak of a million-dollar damage to the Bar Association of the Province of Buenos Aires, since they did not have a single computer left.

Always according to the statements of people with access to the cause, six computer equipment was stolen from the first floor; from the second another six and from the third, three.

They also took out two televisions and all the notebooks and tablets that were there disappeared from the offices.

“I am struck by the way they acted. They removed the cables with terrible neatness, to avoid damaging the computers. It’s not that they were nervous, in a hurry and ripped everything off as it came. You can see that they took their time and did a clean job,” said an investigator.

Precisely, on this point, it was learned that Scientific Police personnel worked at the Colproba headquarters in search of any fingerprint or fingerprint suitable for comparison.

Likewise, the result of this test task is unknown, so it is not ruled out that the criminals have acted with gloves on to avoid leaving marks of the crime.

Undoubtedly, at the door of the building or nearby, they should have left a vehicle to load the loot, which is not easy to transport on foot.

For this reason, detectives from the first police station and from the DDI La Plata are combing the entire neighborhood in an attempt to determine if any other camera, public or private, could have captured the gang’s movements.

In the cause, it was indicated, the UFI of Ignored Authors No. 9 has already taken notice, which will be in charge of directing all actions to clarify the case.
