VfB Stuttgart have to deal with Inter Milan’s interest in Konstantinos Mavropanos. As the ‘Gazzetta dello Sport’ reports, the Italians see the 25-year-old central defender as a potential replacement for Milan Skriniar (27), who could switch to Paris St. Germain today.
The Italian newspaper names a loan with a purchase option as the transfer model. It is hard to imagine that the Swabians would get involved in a scenario without a secured transfer. In general, however, Stuttgart urgently needs income – and could therefore still lose some silverware today.
Twelve million for Ahamada
Midfielder Naouirou Ahamada (20) is already gone. The Frenchman traveled to England yesterday, Monday, to complete the medical check at Crystal Palace. After all, VfB will receive a transfer fee of twelve million euros. Ahamada was a regular in the first half of the season.
Borna Sosa (25) is even more important for the VfB game. The left-back is now being courted by Bayer Leverkusen. According to ‘Sky’, Stuttgart rejected an initial offer from the Werkself. However, another one is likely to follow today. From a certain sum, the clammy VfB can not say no.
