The month of Ramadan was an opportunity for Algerian producers to seduce the Algerian public by releasing their most beautiful creations, but also for actors and comedians to unveil their talent. This is the case of the sitcom “Akhou al banat” which has been a great success since its first broadcast on the Algerian channel Echorouk TV.
The series, which brings together a talented cast, including Biyouna, Mohamed Khassani, Sarah Lalama and Mohamed Yabedri, tackles social and family themes in a comic and humorous way. In particular, by telling the daily life of Biyouna and Mohamed Yabedri and his sisters Sarah Lallama and Souhila Mallem, who lived in Marseille before returning to Oran.

To salute the performances of the various achievements and actors in the Arab world, especially during the month of Ramadan 2023, the “ET Bilarabi” platform launched a survey which made it possible to select the best series, the best actresses and the best actors who are exceeded during the holy month.
In the category of best actresses, ET Bilarabi crowned the talented Souhila Mallem best actress in a North African series. And this, in particular, thanks to his role and his performance in the sitcom “Akhou al banat”. This is what ET Bilarabi announced when revealing the results of its survey.

In addition to her role in the series “Akhou al banat”, Souhila Mallem marked the Algerian public thanks to her performance in “Achour 10“, but also in “Bibiche & Bibicha”, another series that she shares with the actor Merouane Guerouabi. The Algerian actress is also known for her role in the feature film “Heliopolis”. In which she embodies the character of Nedjma. Released in 2019, this film traces the beginning of the tragic events of May 8, 1945, in the regions of Guelma, Sétif and Kherrata.
