Interview with María Caballero from The First Omen

Faced with her religion and the way it is practiced by the sisters of the convent, our protagonist is torn between doing the right thing or rebelling against the system. In this process she meets Luz (María Caballero), another novice who is diametrically opposed to her: she is sensual, self-confident, knows how to adapt to the rules of the convent and is taking advantage of the last days of freedom before taking her vows. This is how Margaret begins to have doubts about whether she chose the right path or not while a strange threat looms over her. Praised by critics and the box office, The First Omen It is considered one of the best horror films so far this year 2024.

Diario Las Américas spoke with María Caballero who plays Luz, a key character in the story of The First Omen. The Spanish actress (famous for series such as Soul or The Longest Night in Netflix) told us how he came to work on this prequel, his experiences on set and many more details about his career.
