This Friday, May 17, it hits movie theaters The Strangers: Chapter 1, the first chapter of a trilogy inspired by the 2008 contemporary classic of the same name. Set in Oregon and based on real events, the film follows the story of a young couple who, due to circumstances beyond their control, must spend a night in a house in the middle of the forest. An experience that could easily be romantic turns into hell when 3 mysterious masked men begin to harass them inside and outside the cabin.
In Diario las Amricas we spoke with Madelaine Petsch and Froy Gutierrez (the protagonist couple of the story), Renny Harlin (director) and Courtney Solomon (producer), who told us about their experience filming this trilogy in the forests of Slovakia.
