With “The Wolf of Wall Street” in 2013, actress Margot Robbie (32) catapulted herself to the top of Hollywood almost overnight. Alongside Leonardo DiCaprio (48), who shone as eccentric stock market guru Jordan Belfort, Margot Robbie stole the show as super hot Naomi Lapaglia – his second wife.
And since the film is about power and money, it’s also about a lot of bare skin and even more sex. Whether in the midst of banknotes or during a mega gangbang on the plane – the directors pulled out all the sex stops.
Margot remembers filming one of these scenes with Leo particularly well. And not because of the romantic atmosphere.

Margot divulges: Said e-cigarette was under the pillow during the shoot, not visible to the cameras, but within reach of Leo. However, when the sex scene was in the can, THE cigarette was gone.

What Leo then did with his e-cigarette remains open. “He probably threw them away. It was so embarrassing,” the actress muses, adding wryly, “So yeah, sex scenes are super sexy.”
It is well known that the intimate film scenes are anything but romantic. Certainly hardly any actor likes having cameras, microphones and strangers around him during the act of love.
“I’m not going to lie, I had a few shots of tequila before this scene because I was nervous — very, very nervous,” confesses Margot Robbie in an interview at the BAFTA: A Life in Pictures event in London.

IndieWire revealed to Margot that it was necessary to be naked, rather than wearing a robe as director Martin Scorsese suggested.
