New leaked renders of the iPhone 15 Pro Max show a glimpse of its even bigger photo block as well as its capacitive buttons with haptic feedback. The leaker also shared the dimensions of Apple’s highest-end model.

Leaks continue to mount a few months before the release of the iPhone 15. The biggest changes will affect the two high-end models, namely l’iPhone 15 Pro et l’iPhone 15 Pro Max (or Ultra). After iPhone 15 Pro Max Periscope Lens Leak, New Renders Reveal Sneak Peek its photo block which would be even more imposing than usual.

The iPhone isn’t known for having the thinnest camera block in smartphones, and that trend isn’t about to reverse. Indeed, according to the new renderings shared by the leaker “ShrimpApplePro”, we can expect a photo block thicker than that of the iPhone 14 and previous models.

The photo block of the iPhone 15 Pro Max would be 5% thicker than that of the iPhone 14 Pro Max

The four shared renders are CAD (Computer Aided Design) drawings from an accessory manufacturer. As you can see in the tweet below, these renders not only show a larger photo block than usual, but also the famous capacitive buttons that would still work if the phone is turned off or flat.

The leaker also took the opportunity to reveal the dimensions of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, but warns that these are not necessarily the same as those shared by other leakers. ” I believe these measurements are accurate and wanted to share them with you says ShrimpApplePro. The iPhone 15 Pro Max would therefore measure 159.86 mm long by 77.58 mm wide and 12.02 mm thick with the photo block. This alone would be 3.78 mm thick and 16.2 mm in diameter with a 13 mm sensor.

Compared to the iPhone 14 Pro Max last year, the photo block of the iPhone 15 Pro Max would therefore be 5% thicker. Keep in mind that CAD drawings are not always exact. They do not necessarily come from Apple or its distribution chain and are sometimes created from leaks and rumours. Anyway, the leaker noticed a surprising detail. The new capacitive buttons with haptic feedback that can also be used with gloves are also present in the renderings of the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus. It could therefore mean that all iPhone models this year will get the new side buttons.
