The new USB-C port makes many new functions possible. This also includes the fact that the iPhone can supply power to connected devices. However, this doesn’t always work as it should.

In various online forums pile up The complaints about the iPhone 15 have increased. The latest problem seems to mean that CarPlay does not work on the new smartphones. Currently it looks like the cables used are the problem. USB-A to USB-C cables seem to cause the problems most often.
