The iPhone 15 is available in four sizes or versions – and therefore also with four battery capacities.
The exact numbers for the batteries in the new iPhones have now appeared in a Chinese product database. They show: Due to the housing sizes, the iPhone 15 Plus and the iPhone 15 Pro Max have the largest batteries.
Up to 4400 mAh power in the iPhone 15 Pro Max
Here are the specific technical data:
- iPhone 15: 3,349mAh
- iPhone 15 Plus: 4,383mAh
- iPhone 15 Pro: 3,274mAh
- iPhone 15 Pro Max: 4,422mAh
And for comparison, these are the battery capacities for the iPhone 14 from last year:
- iPhone 14: 3,279mAh
- iPhone 14 Plus: 4,325mAh
- iPhone 14 Pro: 3,200mAh
- iPhone 14 Pro Max: 4,323mAh
The batteries are therefore slightly more powerful than their predecessors. Whether this will ultimately be reflected in the performance of the devices cannot yet be said – Apple itself only said this about the iPhone 15 Plus during the event on Tuesday.
