Tomorrow Apple will present the new iPhone 15.
As one of the biggest innovations, the device will probably have a new housing. According to the current information, this will be made of titanium (grade 5), like the Apple Watch Ultra.
Titanium instead of aluminum – for more longevity?
What does this mean for end users? You will receive a higher quality device, but it will probably also be a little more expensive. Titanium is also more resistant than the previously used aluminum.
And there are even more advantages: titanium cases are more scratch-resistant than those made of aluminum. Fingerprints are also less visible – and the iPhone 15 will also be lighter thanks to the material.
However, titanium also has disadvantages: It bends more easily than aluminum, which can be particularly noticeable on the corners of smartphones. Apple will certainly have fixed this problem, which is why we are very excited about this new iPhone based on the other pro arguments.
