Cameron calls on Israel to “not respond” to Iran’s attack and to “think with its head as well as its heart”
The Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom, David Cameron, this Monday, called on Israel to “not respond” to the missile and drone attack carried out on Saturday by Iran. and has pointed out that “it is time to think with the head, as well as with the heart.”
“If you are in Israel this morning, you think, quite appropriately, that you have the right to respond to this, which is true,” he noted, although he stressed that He hopes that “there is no answer” and has advocated focusing on the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and the hostages in Gaza.
“I understand that there are people in Israel who want more, but it is time to think with the head, as well as with the heart. Be smart, as well as tough. The smart thing to do is to recognize that Iran’s attack was a failure,” he argued, before highlighting the “massive scale” of Iran’s attack, with “301 weapons”, including “110 ballistic missiles”.
