Iran, China and the United Kingdom see the implementation of the 2015 nuclear agreement as possible

The governments of Iran, China and Russia assured this Wednesday that it is still possible to resume the application of the 2015 nuclear agreementwhich at the time allowed the lifting of the economic and financial sanctions imposed by the UN Security Council, the United States and the European Union against Iran, and of which Washington retired in 2018.

‘It is still possible to resume implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Action Plan (JCPOA)and the People’s Republic of China, the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation are willing to do so,’ reads a joint statement shared by the Iranian news agency IRNA.

In this sense, they have highlighted that, Since the withdrawal of the United States, the three countries ‘have spared no effort’ in restoring the agreementand have criticized the Joe Biden Administration for ‘not having the political will’ to ‘compensate for the erroneous policy’ of former President Donald Trump.
