About two and a half weeks have passed since the anime of NieR: Automata Ver1.1a, an adaptation of the acclaimed video game developed by Platinum Games and published by Square Enix in 2017, premiered. This anime has increased the popularity of NieR: Automata and this is reflected in the cosplays of 2Blike the original-looking one presented by the Italian Yuhime.
So far two episodes of the NieR: Automata anime have premiered and can be viewed via Crunchyroll, with a third arriving this coming Saturday. Yuhime is a very talented Italian cosplayer who has been cosplaying her for about five years, and in that time she has done several tributes to NieR: Automata in addition to the recent 2B cosplay of her.
At the end of 2018 Yuhime published a NieR: Automata cosplay when she transformed into 9S, another of the game’s protagonists and the second most popular female character in the series. We had to wait until the beginning of the following year to see 2B’s first cosplay of her, but of course this wasn’t her last.
2B is the main protagonist of NieR: Automata and since the game’s release has been its most popular character, which is evident in the amount of fan art and cosplay that has sprung up since then. The NieR: Automata anime has inspired new tributes, and Yuhime jumped at the chance to share her latest 2B cosplay.
Yuhime has cosplayed 2B in her original look, in a casual version, and in a Christmas version, as well as a fan-service version that shows us the protagonist of NieR: Automata in a latex outfit. The last time Yuhime posted a 2B cosplay was to celebrate the premiere of the NieR: Automata anime, but we’ll surely see her in a 2B costume again later on.
Meanwhile, all that remains is to wait for the third episode of the NieR: Automata anime, which opens this Saturday through Crunchyroll. The episodes that have aired so far have been well received by fans and, as expected, they have a lot of fan service, so if you liked them you will surely like the other 2B cosplays that you can find on Yuhime’s profile.
