The Doom series by id Software is world-famous above all as a shooter. It’s rather unknown Doom RPG – an RPG spin-off by John Carmack and Katherine Anna Kang. Part 1 of the spinoff is 2005 for Mobile phones with Java support appeared. A sequel followed in 2009 Doom 2 RPG. Fans are bringing back Doom RPG
After the team of GEC.inc released a port of Doom RPG for PC last year, the fan developers recently announced via Twitter that a version of Doom 2 RPG can be played on the computer. With the help of “reverse engineering” the complete source code of the title at that time was rewritten for modern PCs. And the result will probably make many fans of the series happy.
