The fate of the national coach, Djamel Belmadi, at the head of the Greens team has finally been fixed. Indeed, the 46-year-old coach will continue his adventure with the national football team, announced this Friday morning the president of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF), Djahid Zefizef.

Speaking on national radio this Friday morning, the boss of the FAF, Djahid Zefizef, gave an update on the future of Djamel Belmadi at the head of the national team and let it be known that the coach of the Greens renewed his contract with the federation.

Zefizef indicated that “Djamel Belmadi will remain with the national team until 2026”. “Belmadi has signed, with his technical staff, a new contract with the national team”, said the president of the FAF.

Thus, the announcement of Djahid Zefizef comes to put an end to all the rumors having circulated as to the future of the national coach at the head of the Fennecs. It is now official, Djamel Belmadi will still remain with the national football team for four (4) years.
