Children of Silenttown

January 11, 2023 – PS5, Xbox Series, PC, Switch, PS4, Xbox One

Developed by small studios Elf Games and Luna2 Studio, Children of Silenttown is a uniquely artistically directed, hand-drawn narrative adventure game. We play Lucie, a little girl, who lives in a village surrounded by a forest where monsters swarm. The young girl will take her courage in both hands to investigate many disappearances.

Vengeful Guardian: Moonrider

January 12, 2023 – PS5, Switch, PC, PS4

Developed by JoyMasher (Blazing Chrome) Vengeful Guardian: Moonrider is intended to be a true tribute to the side-scrolling action games of the 90s. The game puts us in the shoes of a cybernetic samurai who goes on a quest for revenge by decimating and must cross levels littered with enemies and traps. For lovers of old school 16-bit games.

One Piece Odyssey

January 13, 2023 – PS5, Xbox Series, PC, PS4, Xbox One

One of the most popular Shōnen of his last years arrives in a brand new action game which should take up a good part of the major arcs of the manga, but not only… One Piece Odyssey should offer a good dose of classic JRPG and promises us an ambitious dive into the world of the famous pirate. We were also able to approach it for a few hours during our preview and the whole thing looked particularly attractive for the fans.

Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden

January 19, 2023 – PS5, Xbox Series, Switch, PC, PS4, Xbox One

Two iconic episodes from the Persona series return in a re-release on consoles and PC. If the games will remain perfectly intact, Altus however promises graphic improvements as well as a few small additions such as a free save or the possibility of reviewing cutscenes already passed. Ideal for fans of the license or neophytes who started the saga with Persona 5 Royal. Moreover, the two titles will arrive as soon as they are released in the Xbox Game Pass.

Fire Emblem Engage

January 20, 2023 – Nintendo Switch

Seventeenth opus of the license, Fire Emblem Engage lands on Switch at the start of the year with an all-new adventure. Always focused on its slick tactical gameplay, carried by a scenario that already promises to be complex, this Fire Emblem intends to delight fans and neophytes alike. We will follow the journey of several characters from the continent of Elyos, a nation divided by war and where a mysterious cult tries to overthrow the powers. Wars, political intrigues and colorful characters are on the program.

monster hunter rise

January 20, 2023 – PS5, Xbox Series, Switch, PC, PS4, Xbox One

After having made the heyday of the Nintendo Switch and the PC, the excellent monster hunter rise lands on PS5, Xbox Series, PS4 and Xbox One. Capcom’s game comes with a whole host of graphical and technical improvements. The game can indeed run in 4K 60fps or even in 120fps for those equipped with a compatible screen. For the rest, the game is identical to the Swtich and PC versions. Its Sunbreak extension will arrive in the spring.

Forspoken

January 24, 2023 – PS5, PC

Forspoken is THE next big game from Square Enix. An open-world action/adventure title that will take us on the journey of Frey, a young woman who, despite herself, finds herself catapulted into a parallel world where a merciless war is waged. Accompanied by a slightly talkative magic bracelet, Frey will have to use her new powers to restore peace and return home. A game that promises to be surprising, but which still cooled us down on some of its aspects, as we reported to you in our last preview.

Dead Space Remake

January 27, 2023 – PS5, Xbox Series, PC

Survival horrors are on the rise and should be very numerous in 2023. After a solid The Callisto Protocol to close 2022, this is the highly anticipated remake of dead space which will land on consoles and PC. Completely retyped, this horror classic should amaze us and could also surprise us with these many new features, such as the full voice acting of Isaac Clarke or even completely redesigned portions of the game. Verdict in a few weeks.

Superfuse (Early Access)

January 31, 2023 – CP

Superfuse is a hyper-dynamic hack’n slash inspired by comics from which it draws its universe and artistic direction. Playable up to 4 in cooperation, the game offers us to face enemies in packs of 100 and destroy them with impressive powers and overpowered characters. RPG at heart, it will be possible to evolve and customize its heroes at will by relying on equipment and a large amount of skills. The game, which received a warm welcome during its testing phases, will make its debut in early access on Steam from next year.
