The accident with a snow plow almost cost him his life. But Jeremy Renner has fought his way back to life.
Los Angeles – Less than four months after his horrific accident with a snow plow, US actor Jeremy Renner has returned to the red carpet. The 52-year-old appeared on Tuesday evening (local time) in Los Angeles for the premiere of his new show “Rennervations” – with a blue suit, black walking stick and a big smile on his face. Family members accompanied Renner, who still seemed a bit shaky on his feet.
The “Avengers” actor was run over by a snowplow on New Year’s Day while attempting to clear a stuck vehicle after heavy snowfall in the mountainous region near Lake Tahoe. He was taken to the nearby clinic in Reno (Nevada) by helicopter.
He had to undergo multiple surgeries there. The Hollywood star said he broke more than 30 bones in the accident and said he was in mortal danger. The appearance in Los Angeles now documented Renner’s remarkably rapid recovery. In the series Rennervations, which airs on Disney+ in the US, Renner buys old buses and trucks and redesigns them for new uses. dpa
