Mexico City.- Actor Jeremy Renner is gradually recovering after the accident he had with a snowplow on January 1.
On Tuesday, the actor’s sister, Kym Renner, told People that the Hawkeye performer “is exceeding all progress targets” in his recovery.
“We’re very excited with his progress. If anyone knows Jeremy, he’s a fighter and he doesn’t waste time,” Kym shared.
The accident where his leg was run over by the vehicle caused orthopedic and thoracic injuries that led him to the operating room, reporting his critical but stable condition.
Jeremy has been recovering for 10 days in the Intensive Care Unit accompanied by his family.
Regardless of his delicate condition, Jeremy has not missed the opportunity to update his followers through social networks, in addition to thanking him for the support he receives.
On January 5, he published a video from the hospital in which his sister and his mother are seen accompanying him.
Renner’s accident occurred while he was trying to help a family member stranded in the snow, according to police reports, at one point while the actor got out of the machine, it began to walk, and in his attempt to stop it, his limb was run over.
Although the unexpected event alarmed the public about Jeremy’s health, his sister now says their family feels “positive about the road ahead.”
