Jincheng Guoa Chinese armless swimmer, beat twice in the same day he 50 meter freestyle world record in category S5 during the dispute of Paralympic Swimming World Championships which are held in Manchester.
The Chinese swimmer surprised the swimming world with his technique of staying underwater for almost the entire test.
Ricardo Peterson Silveiraa student of the analysis of running, propulsion, coordination and resistance in swimming and paraswimming for the NePTUNE project, explained Jincheng Guo’s technique that has attracted so much attention in the sports world: “By controlling the surface tension of the water, he was able to minimize the resistance and complete the distance in 29.78 Feel the water!”.
