Washington.
Joe Biden, America’s oldest president, wants to run again in 2024. Why that’s not wrong – even if many critics say so.

The question America’s next presidential election will probably decide is not the most promising political draft for the future that would be attractive to many social classes and that the world would envy the USA for.

But what is stronger: the fear of a sectarian and polarizing conservatism, as Donald Trump would execute him more despotically than during his first visit to the White House. Or the permanent uneasiness about the rapid aging process of Joe Biden, who would be 86 if he were the end of a second term experience.

Joe Biden: Many find him too old – but he looks fitter than ever

Biden begins the run-up that became official on Tuesday for one re-candidate for the highest office in a paradoxical environment. Apart from regular age-appropriate dropouts, he seems agile and fit like he hasn’t for a long time. And its undeniable political achievements stand in contrast to a bored, latently disgruntled audience.

65 percent of democratic voters find him too old. On the other hand, the republicans more than 70 percent could imagine a second ride on Trump’s ghost train. The man is just four years younger. And often talks outrageous nonsense.

However, juggling the poll numbers is of limited value. If in the end the question remains as to who can prevent the far greater evil, a majority of voters likely to cross Biden again.

The reference to the bridge builder to younger democratic forces, the Biden wanted to be four years ago, entitled. But the opposite of realpolitik – there is no equal alternative in the democrats.

Trump’s return would tear the country apart

In the winter of 2020, the idea still prevailed that America fed up once and for all with the Queens shellfish player and the ongoing drama that surrounds him. Only a few could imagine that a narcissist who, at the latest after the storming of the Capitol and all the other subversive messes, can rightly be called a criminal, still has the support of millions republican voter would enjoy. Although he has nothing to offer politically and conceptually.

The fact that Donald Trump is now the undisputed leader in the ranking of potential GOP candidates by a wide margin is an alarming pathological finding about the state of things in right-of-center America. His return the levers of power would tear the country apart. It must therefore be prevented, also in the interests of the rest of the world. Biden can be this protective wall. One last time.

Joe Biden: That’s why he could win the 2024 election

It is largely their fault that the Democrats did not build up a sufficient reservoir of leaders in the post-Barack Obama era. Nobody there except Biden embodies today the, admittedly declining, binding power across all demographic strata, around 2024 again one election victory to land.

If it were otherwise, Biden would be as crappy and worn-out as some of the media and the political opponents characterized untruthfully, the Sanders, Harris, Buttigiegs, Klobuchars of this world would have already broken the baton and positioned themselves. The opposite is the case.

Die Political party has placed her fate in the hands of an 80-year-old who deserves good health. Because whether his designated successor, Vice President Kamala Harris, who could silently take over the helm in an emergency, has to be given a question mark at the moment.
