In the comics Joker: The Man Who Stopped Laughing, Batman’s most famous villain finds himself…pregnant! Here’s why.
We never imagined we could write this one day but it is nevertheless a reality, the Joker, the most emblematic and charismatic antagonist of Batman finds himself pregnant in the last issue of the comics Joker: The Man Who Stopped Laughing. Something to give chills of horror when you imagine the presence of two (potential) evil geniuses at the same time in the same place.
Joker pregnant, by what miracle nightmare ?
The crazy screenplay element in question therefore comes into play in issue 4 of The Man Who Stopped Laughing , written by Matthew Rosenberg and drawn by Francesco Francavilla. This story is premised on a confrontation between the Joker and Zatanna. For the record, Zatanna is the daughter of an illustrious magician and she has powerful magical powers. She can make objects disappear, transform people into animals, teleport, use telekinesis or telepathy and… visibly make a man pregnant.
In this magical context, she uses her powers over the Joker to punish him for the flirtation he undertakes with her. That’s when the most famous clown wakes up the next morning to find he’s nine months pregnant and about to give birth. Childbirth, as despicable as the personality of the Joker, takes place in a greenish vomit which gives birth to a deformed double. What give nightmares.
In Injustice: Gods Among Us, Harley Quinn already reveals that she gave birth to a child with him. The difference this time is that the villain does everything himself and does not even need the presence of his beloved. In short, the Joker-verse is growing a little more and will continue to amaze us with all of its ideas.
For fans of the clown, know that the film Joker 2 is still in preparation and that it may well be quite surprising, since it should include scenes like musicals.
