During this Sunday’s NJPW Dominion, Jon Moxley made his return to Japan since 2020, competing in a Six-Man Tag Team Match.

Yesterday, Kazuchika Okada, Tomohiro Ishii and Hiroshi Tanahashi defeated Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and Shota Umino to retain the NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Championships.

Although the “Purveyor of Violence” has made several appearances in NJPW outside of Japan, the wrestler appears to be determined to return to the company.

In the post-match interview, the former AEW World Champion spoke about his plans for his return to NJPW:

Whenever I come back to Japan, I will give you my best, just like Claudio and Shooter. I’m so happy to be back in Japan.

This is a place where fighting spirit is revered, this is a place where fighting spirit pays off in the ring, in that magical moment where blood and sweat and will and guts and all that shit blends into one.

It’s the best drug in the world. I love this shit. Fuck you, yes. Let’s fight again. I got plans, man. I have the f*ck of a resident card now.

I know Okada has been playing around with the visa issue and trying to get our shit to stop. But now I have the card. I come back whenever I feel like it. Thank you, Japan.

What do you expect from Jon Moxley’s return to NJPW?
