When Jorge Rial arrived in Argentina last Tuesday on a medical plane after the heart attack he had in Bogotá, Colombia, on April 29, he was immediately transferred to the Finochietto Sanatorium to remain under observation for a few days after the intervention they performed when they placed a stent.
the doctor William Capuya told details to teleshow on the state of health of the driver Argenzuela: “He finished lunch a while ago, he is sitting down, they are doing studies on him.” In addition, he pointed out that “he is very tired, wanting to be at home.” The exhaustion is due to the fact that the journalist arrived on a long flight that stopped in Leticia and then in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. “He arrived well and he is fine”, closed the doctor responsible for Institutional Relations of the Finochietto Sanatorium.
The doctor was in charge of accompanying him to Rial unconditionally and as soon as he found out about his hospitalization and the seriousness of the situation, he decided to travel to Bogotá. His two daughters also traveledMorena and Rocio. When the condition improved, Capuya returned to the country and began to organize the return of his patient. After Jorge’s arrival in Buenos Aires, he was admitted to the private clinic and this Wednesday the corresponding check-ups began.
During the afternoon of Wednesday, the specialists of the Sanatorium awaited the results of the medical studies to be able to assess when they could discharge him according to the evolution of his health, which finally occurred during the last hours of the afternoon. As confirmed by Dr. Capuya to Teleshow, Rial is already resting in his house and recovering from his home.
After the heart attack, when Jorge recovered his cell phone, he took the opportunity to thank the medical team that treated him in Colombia, led by Capuya. “Thanks to all these Colombian health professionals Today I am writing to you after a huge scare. Luckily these angels were in the right place and did everything they could to keep me alive. But above all I appreciate the sensitivity of each one. They were affectionate, kind and very human, ”he assured in a text that he wrote on the surface.
There, he thanked the professionals of the Country Clinic, the entity in the city of Bogotá where he was treated. and to the doctor Carolina Guarin Villabon, who was in all the details”, he pointed out. “Later I am going to tell you about Omar, my guardian angel who did not let me go. Right now I’m just writing in a whirlwind of emotions to remember all the names. But each one has a place in my heart,” she continued.
Once he left the intensive care unit, Jorge also expressed himself on his social networks: he shared a photo of the room in which he was treated and wrote an emotional text. “This was the battlefield for five days. I was able to leave it because there were many people who accompanied me. Very close and at a distance. Moment of sadness, tiredness but also of discovery. We have no control of anything at all. Just how to get there. Not when, not how, not where. Now to continue on the road because God gave me another chance”, he wrote days ago.
