MIAMI.- The family of Juan Gabriel is in mourning: one of the sons of the late artist, Ivan Aguilera, lost his baby just a few hours after being born.
The sad news was confirmed by Ivan’s wife and mother of the little boy.
“How a mother and father begin to express the pain that is felt in every cell of our body when the hopes and dreams you had for your newborn son are gone in an instant…our son, Elijah Jedidiah Aguilera, was born and has passed into eternity on July 8, 2024. My heart hurts so much physically that I have no words for so many tears filled with love,” Simona Florentina Aguilera wrote on Instagram about the nieto by Juan Gabriel So many tears.
“Ivan and I are mourning our son Elijah, but we are also rejoicing for him because we know exactly where he is: with our Lord and Savior, our Heavenly Father. I rejoice for Elijah, but I weep for this earthly pain that hurts so deep. Every cell in my body wants and aches to hold him and have him home with us… my arms are empty, my heart aches; my body has all the signs of my son, but I can’t feel him anymore. Who do I hold and comfort now and cuddle to sleep? My arms feel so empty,” added Ivan Aguilera’s wife.

In light of the tragic event, Simona Florentina asked for understanding and support.
“I love you Lord and I trust in you. Give me your strength in this time because I am so weak that I cannot stand. Help us Lord and strengthen us. We need God’s strength more than ever. Please pray for my heart, my husband’s heart and the hearts of our children, Ivan and Florentina,” she said, adding that she would soon give details about the little boy’s funeral.
“We need a moment to be alone with God and we will soon have an announcement for our son’s sweet funeral. Mommy loves you, my sweet little Elijah. Sleep with the heavenly angels, my sweet boy,” concluded Simona Florentina Aguilera.
Little Elijah was the third child of Ivan Aguilera and Simona Florentina.
