Scandal influencer Julian Zietlow has been back in Berlin since Sunday morning. An encounter with a man who seems to be beside himself.

He has been to Thailand several times in the past six months, and now he is back – initially for a month, as he says. “Whether I’ll really stay that long or longer – I have no idea.” An announcement warns passengers to only trust licensed taxi drivers. “It’s amazing,” says Zietlow, “how the energy changes completely here.”

“People say we are responsible for making the children happy, but they can do it themselves,” says the 38-year-old. “They don’t have to be watched by their helicopter parents. Children are also allowed to go through trauma.” Experts contradict this claim: “We now know that traumatization in childhood usually has serious short and long-term consequences,” writes the German Institute for Psychotraumatology.

Life in Germany made him depressed, says Zietlow. In Thailand it got better day by day. “Yesterday I didn’t think about today. Whatever emotions come in, come in. When I think of my children and cry, cry, cry, then I can be sad as a father who doesn’t see them, but a happy man who sees himself everything takes from life.”
One factor in this development was Kate Kolosovskaia, whom he also referred to as his “spiritual wife” at the airport. He gives her her “total femininity”, she gives him “my total masculinity”. “I love her unconditionally, she is my soul mate.” When she wanted to have her breasts enlarged, he said to her: “I think your small tits are awesome, but that’s not the point. It’s your life.”
