Justified: City Primevala shooting took place on the set

On July 20, 2022, around 1 a.m., a serious incident took place in Chicago, United States, on Le filming of the series. As revealed by our Anglo-Saxon colleagues from Variety, a shootout broke out on site, between two vehicles which burst onto the set. They broke through the security barriers, but fortunately, no member of the team was injured. A person working on the set testified, explaining that she was returning from the bathroom when she heard a shot. “I’m from a military town, so I know what the fire“, she declared. Coincidence or not, the members of the team were supposed to film a chase scene in the street, when the drama happened in real life, making some people think at first of fireworks. However, Chicago police had secured the scene by closing both ends of the street, from midnight to 4 a.m., filming time. Nothing was enough to prevent these two cars from tumbling onto the set, exchanging gunfire… Filming had been interrupted for a few days, so that the production company could strengthen security.
