After Moholt announced that she had finished as presenter in Skal vi danse, many have wondered what her next assignment would be.

In a fresh press release writes TV 2 that Moholt will lead a program about child rearing. The program has not yet been given a name, but participants are being sought.

How to participate:

The recordings for the series will take place for a limited period by agreement with each family during the early summer of 2023. In addition, there will be some recordings in August. There is no requirement for how many children a participating family has, but at least one child must be aged 5-12.

The families who join the series will receive close follow-up throughout. In addition, a competent psychologist will advise the parents during the programme.

How should one raise children?

Moholt says that she wants to get in touch with families who will solve exciting challenges together, and that the main goal is to inspire other families in this country.

– We see how upbringing can shape our adult lives. Now we are looking for families who have a parenting style they really believe in and which they want to show off. We want to get in touch with families who believe that their way of raising their children can inspire other parents, while also wanting to discuss and learn, says Moholt, and continues:

– We will ask questions, and give the parents and children challenges and tasks, which in turn means that we have to have the important conversation about how our actions as adults can affect our children for better or worse for the rest of their lives, says the presenter.

Mother of three

Moholt has high expectations for the new programme.

– I actually believe that this program can help change the lives of Norwegian children. We will illuminate and focus on what is important in childhood, and what we as parents should and should not do to help create safe, well-functioning people, says Moholt.

Katrine Moholt herself has three children. One of them, Evelina Harstad Moholt (23), will participate with her mother in this year’s season of Forræder. There she described her mother as her very best friend.
