Juarez City.- Two high school students were attacked with bullets outside CBTIS 128, located in the El Granjero neighborhood. The balance of the attack was one of them dead in the hospital and the other, a teenager, with shoulder injuries.

This is the second attack against high school students registered in the last week. Last week a 17-year-old teenager died after he was shot while still wearing his school uniform in the Toribio Ortega neighborhood.

Educational authorities have not ruled on both crimes.

According to the first reports generated yesterday outside the institution, located between Nueva Zelanda and Mora streets, two adolescents, a man and a woman, were the victims, who were attacked with a firearm at the time of departure.

One of the 16-year-old students, identified by the initials SURL, lost his life in the hospital, reported an investigative agent from the North Zone District Attorney’s Office.

He received at least two shots, one in the chest and one in the right leg.

Witnesses indicated that around seven shots were heard.

At the scene, the same parents who were waiting for their children outside the campus gave first aid to the injured students.

Minutes after the attack, panic broke out among other students on the campus and their parents, who came to pick them up to take them home.

According to witnesses, the same institution evacuated staff and students after the shooting.

The area remained surrounded for a few hours by military personnel and elements of other corporations such as the National Guard, as well as the municipal and Ministerial Police.

At the close of this edition, the arrest of any of those responsible was not reported, who, according to municipal police officers, wore dark clothes and fled on a motorcycle.
