The concept “Have a good weekend” is open to interpretation: it talks about people’s indifference to the end of the world, but it may also be the end of capitalism as we know it. It’s also tongue-in-cheek and its message is “let’s party while it’s all over.”
The music sounds like The Money, previously one had to look for references to decipher what it looked like, today the band already has its own sound. It is a heavy rock band that constantly flirts with pop. The music may sound rocky but the voices are soft and pleasant, in contrast to the power of the band.
Some of the lyrics are very flowy and metaphorical while others are more direct and tell their own experiences as the theme “part of your being” who wrote it to him Gaspar Benegas to his mother or the song “Flores” which recounts the domestic violence he witnessed during his childhood.
Other lyrics talk about a future that promised to be good and in the end all its advances were used against humanity and also about some temporary paradoxes that exist in our times.
The recording technician was Andres Carbonel, sound engineer for La Mono and Los Fundamentalistas del Aire Acondicionado. The mixing and mastering was in charge of Gaspar Benegas. After finishing his tour #AnomalíaTour2021 Farewell to the album “Anomalia” in a sold-out Vorterix Theater that also accumulated more than 40 shows throughout the country with most of the halls full and that Gaspár Benegas later included in solo format the cities of Chicago, The Angels y Sacramento in USA which included the mythical Whiskyagogo (place where The Doors, Guns N Roses and Motley Crue debuted among others.
They also passed through cities like Aharus, Copenhagen, Malmö, London and Paris in Europe. This year they present their third studio album that will take them once again through Europe and the US on a tour that will last until 2024. In Argentina they will give a show on May 27 at the flower theater. Tickets are available through passline.
