H. Rodríguez Larreta criticized the impeachment request to the court/arch.

The head of the Buenos Aires Government, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, affirmed that the “forceful statement” of Together for Change in rejection of the impeachment of the members of the Supreme Court of Justice will be replicated at the time of the votes in Congress.

“Although Kirchnerism wants to annul one of the three powers, we are not going to allow it. We are going to oppose it in Congress. We are not going to allow them to wear the republic -a phrase very pronounced by Lilita Carrió-“, indicated Rodríguez Larreta during a press conference at a school in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of San Telmo.

For the Buenos Aires mayor, the impeachment trial promoted by President Alberto Fernández together with 11 Peronist governors -several of them deserted from accompanying the initiative- against the members of the highest court is “madness” and it is a “new attack on Justice”.

“A week after ignoring a ruling by the Court, the President accompanied by some governors said ‘we don’t like this Court, let’s change all the judges.’ They don’t have absolute power,” he noted.

In this sense, the Buenos Aires president reiterated that “there was a strong statement” from the entire opposition coalition against the impeachment that will be “translated” to Congress.

“Kirchnerism wants to go over the laws and change the arbitrator, who in a republic like ours is Justice. We are going to be left without Argentina if we continue with this systematic violation of the rules, ”he stressed.

renewed support

Meanwhile, in the midst of an internal commotion that affects the PRO, Rodríguez Larreta ratified his support for Minister Marcelo D’Alessandro, who announced his decision to request a license while “making available” information about the leak of conversations with a collaborator of the president of the Supreme Court, Héctor Rosatti.

In addition to the chats with Rosatti’s collaborator, D’Alessandro is also involved, according to the FdT complaint, in other conversations that came to light with federal judges, the Buenos Aires Attorney General Juan Bautista Mahiques and directors of Grupo Clarín for a trip made in October to the residence of British businessman Joe Lewis in Lago Escondido, Bariloche.

He argued that “there was a hacking of D’Alessandro’s phone. They stole the phone line. They took out the Telegram chats. From that they put together a montage manipulating information. The most serious thing is that they violated the right to privacy”.

For the head of the Buenos Aires Government, this leak in which the minister on leave talks with Silvio Robles, Rosatti’s collaborator, and with businessman Marcelo Violante, who was in charge of the Buenos Aires hauling system, is part of an “operation of Kirchnerism”.

“I trust D’Alessandro, I support and value all the work that I have been doing at the head of the Ministry of Security, but I also respect his decision to take a license and make all the information available to unmask this,” Larreta explained at the conference press.

“Kirchnerism wants to go over the laws and change the arbitrator, which is Justice”
