The Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) announced that it authorized the Consorcio del Fútbol Perú (CFP) to broadcast the home matches of four Liga 1 clubs through two notarial letters sent in January and February 2023, successively.
Agustín Lozano accused the Consortium of “manipulation”, “delaying” and “boycotting” the start of Liga 1
The president of the Peruvian Football Federation assured that the owners of GOLPERU never attended the agreed meetings.
“The Federation sent a notarized letter to the Consorcio Fútbol Perú to reiterate its authorization for the transmission of the local matches of the Universitario de Deportes, Sport Boys, Deportivo Municipal and Carlos A. Mannucci clubs,” the FPF cited in the publication of the official Twitter account.
“The Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) informs that on January 11, it sent an official communication to the Peru Football Consortium (CFP) giving authorization to broadcast only the home matches of the clubs with which it has recognized current contracts ( Universitario, Sport Boys, Carlos A. Mannucci and Deportivo Municipal)”, quoted the Federation statement.
Delegate of Alianza Lima explained the differences between the TV rights plan of GOLPERU and the FPF
Héctor Ordóñez implied that the project of the federation and company is very unreliable and defended the Consorcio Fútbol Perú.
“In reiteration of this, on February 2, 2023, he sent a notarized letter to the CFP authorizing it to broadcast the matches scheduled for this week: Universitario vs. Academia Cantolao, Sport Boys vs. Unión Comercio, Deportivo Municipal vs. Carlos A.
