Leave me like Susana Duijm, a work that confronts the Venezuela of the 50s

CARACAS.- Talk about beauty in Venezuela, a country that has been characterized by winning reigns such as Miss Universe, is a constant that is already part of the DNA of the culture of the South American nation. But combining this theme with the can, it has been little frequented. However, the playwright Karin Valecillos, under the direction of Nakary Bazn, presents Leave me like Susana Duijm, a constructions that uses comedy to confront viewers with the reality of Venezuelan society and the power of the 1950s.

This black comedy stars Marielena González, Vernica Arellano, Josette Vidal Restifo, Vernica León, Patricia Ramírez, Margarita Morales, Oriana Santos, Muriel Tremont and Nakary Bazán, who recreate the story of nine women who will do their thing. in the midst of the chaos generated by the death of a colonel linked to each of them in different ways.

Faced with the surprising death of this man of power, in a neighborhood of Caracas in the 1950s, these neighbors meet at the beauty salon Caracas Beauty Parlor to comment on what they know and find out what they don’t know about this mysterious crime. In the hairdresser’s confessions emerge, revealing the relationship that the colonel had with each of them without the others knowing; These stories will change their lives for better or worse and to the delight of the public, who plays with the facts to discover who the murderer really is.

With a sold-out first season, Leave me like Susana Duijm arrives again on the Caraquea theater scene during these three weekends in April in the theater Plural Space of Cultural Late Night at 7:30 pm, on Fridays; and 7:00 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays.
