During the Serie A match between Lecce and Lazio Rome (2-1) on Wednesday, central defender Samuel Umtiti (29, 6 games in Serie A this season) was targeted, along with his teammate Lameck Banda, by racist cries from Roman supporters. While the game was interrupted by the announcer to calm Lazio’s parking lot, the French international, author of a great performance, burst into tears on his exit in front of the support of his fans, who chanted his name and him booked a standing ovation.
