Some of Lochau’s evening strollers were certainly amazed when party animals in pajamas and nightgowns approached them early on Friday evening and made a pilgrimage towards Schalmeien-Hell. The Leiblachtal model musicians were finally able to invite you to one of their meanwhile legendary motto parties. Numerous carnival fans, dressed according to the motto of the evening in their sleep clothes, followed the request and ensured a full house in the Schalmeien-Hell with a great atmosphere. On the turntables, DJ HONZZ and DJ Minimi drove the temperatures up with the perfect sound. The Lauteracher Schalmeienzug also paid a loud visit to the event and received enthusiastic applause.
In addition to many enthusiastic carnival fans, there were also numerous members of the Leiblachtal carnival guilds, part of the fluffy entourage and also some of the former shawms, who are now in musical retirement. The Leiblachtaler Schalmeien around chairman Michael “Minimi” Weißenböck and vice Patrick Matt can be congratulated, at the first theme party 2023 in their club bar there was a great atmosphere right from the start. The audience and the musical accompanists of the royal couple were no longer aware of the compulsory break that had been prescribed, and the well-organized party lasted until the early hours. The carnival and party fans from and around the Leiblachtal can already look forward to the second theme party “Dirndl and Lederhosn” in the Schalmeien-Hölle.
