With its solid gold cast, around the star ofAvatar Zoe Saldana, Special Ops: Lioness is the last baby Taylor Sheridan for the Paramount+ platform. Abandoning the western, the director and creator of Yellowstone is inspired here by an existing American military program. y We will follow the daily life of Joe (Saldaña), a leading CIA officer in the war against terrorism, in his quest to balance his personal and professional life.
Far from the field, in the offices of the Pentagon, the program Lioness is supervised by Kaitlyn Meade (Kidman) and Donald Westfield (Kelly). They will call on a very young Marine, Cruz Manuelos (Laysla De Oliveira), a little brutal but passionate, to operate undercover alongside Joe and thwart the project of a new September 11…
This spy thriller is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios. Special Ops: Lioness premieres July 23 on Paramount+.
