Mexico City.Lisa Marie Presley’s family signed a DNR order before the singer died of a second cardiac arrest at the hospital, TMZ reported.

Page Six reported that the singer was declared brain dead after she was rushed to hospital on Thursday, prompting doctors to place her in a medically induced coma.

Given the critical condition, the singer’s family decided to sign a document not to resuscitate her in case she suffered another cardiac arrest, which happened, the news portal announced.

More details of her death became known after the housekeeper found Lisa Marie unconscious in her California home on Thursday morning. Her first ex-husband, Daniel Keough, who lived with her, performed CPR on her until paramedics arrived.

However, after paramedics were able to revive her after administering epinephrine, she “coded multiple times” while in the hospital.

Her mother, Priscilla Presley, later confirmed that her “beautiful daughter Lisa Marie had died.”

“She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever met,” he said in a statement shared with various media.

Since her tragic death, a number of celebrities have paid tribute to the Princess of Rock and Roll, including “Elvis” star Austin Butler and two of her ex-husbands, Nicholas Cage and Michael Lockwood.

On Friday, family representatives told Page Six that he would be laid to rest with his father, Elvis Presley, and son Benjamin, who committed suicide, at Graceland.

He is survived by his mother and three daughters: Riley, 33, and 14-year-old twins Finley and Harper, who will now inherit the iconic Tennessee estate.

Despite the late singer reportedly losing most of her $100 million estate over the years, Elvis’ house is worth $400 million to $500 million, according to Rolling Stone.
