Literary picnic in honor of our rivers

The great honoree will be the Chocoano writer Arnoldo Palacios, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of his birth next year. The coastal poet Raúl Gómez Jattin and Godula Buchholz, the first bookstore in Bogotá, will also be remembered, among other protagonists of national literature.

“From 9 am, the Botanical Garden will be transformed into a large reading room. Each of its spaces will represent a Colombian river, and there will be held, until 5 pm, various activities that invite children, families and, in general, all attendees to explore and arouse their curiosity, as well as love for nature and, of course, for literature. We will have readings aloud, music, workshops, movies, puppets, book presentations, tours of the garden and other cultural offerings that cannot be missed”, says Carlos Ramírez, manager of Literature at Idartes.
