British intelligence believes Russia has ‘probably suffered its greatest losses’ since the start of the war in the past two weeks

In its daily note published this Sunday, the British Ministry of Defense writes that “over the past two weeks Russia has probably suffered its greatest losses since the first week of the invasion of Ukraine”.

British intelligence relies on daily statistics of Russian casualties published by the Ukrainian General Staff and believes that “the trends that the data illustrates are probably correct”.

Over the past seven days, an average of 824 Russian soldiers have died each day, according to this source. The UK notes that “Ukraine also continues to suffer from a high attrition rate”.

NATO will change leaders in October
