Memphis Depay’s move to Atlético Madrid is on the home stretch. FC Barcelona actually wanted to sign Yannick Carrasco in exchange. Although the Colchoneros rejected the proposal, it now looks like the Belgium international will be in the Blaugrana shirt very soon.

As the radio sports program ‘El Larguero’ and the Spanish daily newspaper ‘Marca’ both report, Carrasco will be loaned out by Atleti to Barça until the end of the season. Barcelona then have the option of signing the 29-year-old winger for a fee of €20m.
