Logitech’s handheld console for cloud gaming will be launched in Europe and here in Sweden next week. The console is not a regular handheld computer in itself like the Steam Deck or Asus Rog Ally, or a game console like the Nintendo Switch, but is designed to let you play via the cloud with services like Xbox Game Pass and Geforce Now.

The device has a full-HD touch screen of 7 inches with a refresh rate of 60Hz, and a battery that should last for 12 hours of playing. In addition to playing games via the cloud library, Logitech G Cloud also functions as an Android tablet, so you’ll also have access to your favorites from the Google Play store.

Ahead of the European launch, the console has received some updates. Among other things, there is a lot of news regarding the console’s controls. Among other things, you can map the physical buttons to locations on the screen for mobile gaming, and it’s now possible to adjust the sensitivity of sticks and buttons and set “Dead Zones” if you’re worried about unwanted control input. Ahead of that European release, Logitech G Cloud has also gained support for Shadow Cloud Computing, a service where you simply get access to a virtual computer in the cloud.

Logitech G Cloud will be launched on May 22, at a price of SEK 3,999. You can check out our test of the console shortly.
