Juarez City.- Within the framework of the activities for the 50th anniversary of its foundation, the Chihuahua State College of Bachelors (Cobach) closed the Academic, Cultural and Sports Week in the schools belonging to the Northern Zone of the state.

The ceremony was held at the Paso del Norte Cultural Center (CCPN) before more than 2,000 students from the 11 schools in the region, which are seven from Ciudad Juárez, two from Nuevo Casas Grandes, one from Ahumada and one from Guadalupe.

“Fifty years are easy to say but there is a whole story behind it, many generations have passed through this subsystem, now it is your turn to be protagonists and leave your name written and you are doing very well,” said the head of the Secretariat during her message. of Education and Sports (SEyD), Sandra Elena Gutiérrez Fierro.

He pointed out that Cobach has distinguished itself by offering quality education, which has led it to be the upper secondary education subsystem with the most students, but it is also distinguished by its comprehensive training and attention to the development of multiple intelligences.

“We have the task of continuing to seek an education of excellence, for the students who are in the prelude to higher education and that tomorrow we will have successful professionals, but above all, citizens committed to a better state and a better country” Gutierrez Fierro said.

“Here in Juárez we are living a historic moment for this generation, there are many companies that come to Juárez because of the geopolitical circumstances, but also because of the older people prepared and with greater skills,” said Óscar Ibáñez Hernández, representative of the state government. on this border.

Meanwhile, Humberto de las Casas Muñoz, director of the baccalaureate system, recalled that 50 years ago Cobach was founded with a vision of providing a comprehensive education: “you are leaving the expectation of the next generations higher and higher, you are going to marking the places that young people who reach high school must reach”, he said.
