The permanence of an elected Renaissance du Lot was deprived of electricity on Thursday during the demonstration against the pension reform. A complaint is expected to be filed on Saturday.

The office of Renaissance MP for Lot Huguette Tiegna, located in the center of Figeac, was deprived of electricity on Thursday during the demonstration against the pension reform, we learned from the parliamentarian on Friday.

“The cut occurred from 2:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., only in the street where there is my permanence, the sub-prefecture, shops, including a pharmacy and a bakery. It is the permanence that was targeted, the CGT had announced that “They were going to take action,” Huguette Tiegna told AFP.

A cut confirmed by Enedis

The MP was to file a complaint on Saturday, just like Enedis who confirmed the cut.

“It could have endangered human lives, people on respirators for example. Traders are angry. I condemn this type of action,” she added.

Its permanence had already been the target of degradations. In Montpellier, Enedis reports voluntary power cuts that affected the city center, in the district of the prefecture and the courthouse. The operator filed a complaint against X.

Threats condemned by the government

Thursday, two voluntary and limited cuts were identified by Enedis, affecting in particular companies in Massy (Essonne) and buildings of the prefecture, the departmental council, the regional council, the town hall and the academic inspection in Chaumont (Haute -Marl).

The CGT had warned of power cuts targeted at municipalities of elected officials favorable to the reform, which the government had condemned, judging them “unacceptable in democracy”.
