Olympique Lyonnais continues to trust its young people. The Rhone club announced on Wednesday the signing of a first professional contract for goalkeeper Mathieu Patouillet (19). Winner of the Gambardella Cup last year with the OL U19 team and used 14 times with the reserves in National 2 this season, the former FC DOMTAC player joins Anthony Lopes, Rmy Riou, Kayne Bonnevie, Justin Bengui Joao in the list of doormen who are currently professional and trained in Lyon.
“This signing is an additional step. It was important for me and my family to sign pro here at OL. I thank the club enormously. performing well in training and in matches,” said Patouillet after signing his three-year contract, which runs until 2026.
